Description

Celts in the Ardennes? Yes, Belgium in the past was also populated by Gauls!
The Celtic Museum in the heart of the Ardennes, where the Celts lived some 2,500 years ago, invites you to discover the daily life of the Celts - sometimes not so different from our own.

Many aspects of Celtic daily life are explored here: clothing, dwellings, tools, trade, burial practices, and so much more... And all this through a hundred authentic objects, most of which were discovered during excavations of the ‘tombelles’, the burial mounds covering one or more graves.

You will also be able to hear Celtic tales, immerse yourself with an audio guide, experience tactile modules designed for both young and old, create objects and take home souvenirs. Kids 4-11 will even receive a ‘perfect little Celt booklet’ as part of their fun visit. In short, a fun-filled time of discovery for all the family!
